This workshop is for ASOST Grantees and their partners that want to learn about Social Emotional Learning.
July 8, 2020 1-3:30pm : Intentional Instruction of Social Emotional Learning – (2.5 hrs virtually, 1 session)
This session will help participants think about what Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) is and how it is important to teach these skills to students when expecting them to collaborate in projects. Participants will look at how to design activities to support intentional connections to SEL outcomes and integration in academic instruction.
*There will be a quick Tech Session for this workshop on July 7, 2-2:20pm. If you can’t make this, you will need to contact the instructor to get directions on how to access and navigate the the course materials on CANVAS.
